About the Play:
[SPOILER ALERT: Romeo and Juliet Kill Themselves in Act 5!] But is that really how their story ends? In this raunchy contemporary exploration of their post-death relationship, the star-crossed-lovers are asked to handle the truth of their entire existence…but will the unknown forces at hand even let them?
About the Cast and Creative Team:
HARRISON BRYAN [Playwright/Director] is a NYC-based actor, playwright, singer, producer, clown, and puppeteer. He is a two-time awarded finalist at NYC’s Steven Sondheim’s Young Playwrights’ Write-A-Play Festival. His plays has been produced, and work-shopped at: The 2016 New York International FRINGE Festival (w/ special online publication by INDIE THEATRE NOW), Ugly Rhino’s Tiny Rhino, Open Hydrant Theatre, NYU, Broadway Comedy Club, The Venus/Adonis Theatre Festival, BRUNCH Theatre @ The Nuyorican Poet’s Café, Boston University, and MCC’s FreshPlay Festival. He also served as a Writer/Actor for five years with FACES, Theatre Network for Teens, using theatre-therapy and improvisation to promote tolerance, peace, and anti-bullying. CASEY A. TUCKER (JULIET) is delighted to be part of The Players Theatre Short Play Festival for the first time and was most recently seen performing at Reckless Theatre and Training in Ghost Girl. Boston credits: Good and Assassins (New Repertory Theatre) The Complete History of America Abridgedand Henry V (Arts After Hours,) The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds (Boston Center for American Performance.) She appeared in Goody F*cking Two Shoes, The Late Night Cabaret, and a musical improv show with Baby Wants Candy at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, as part of the summer 2015 Apprenticeship Program. Casey earned her BFA in Acting from Boston University, and studied at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts. Originally from Orange County, CA, Casey has recently relocated to New York City.
